What are the basic structures of freight cars?
The truck generally consists of engine, chassis, body, electrical equipment and other basic structures. Truck is a kind of automobile. Truck is mainly a commercial vehicle designed and equipped for carrying goods, belonging to the category of commercial vehicles.
Freight cars are divided into:
Ordinary truck, multipurpose truck, full-trailer tractor, off-road truck, special operating vehicle, special truck, etc.
1.The engine is the power unit of the car, including the body, ignition line, cooling system, lubrication system, starting device, fuel supply system, etc. The engine uses fuel combustion to generate power, and then drives the wheels through the transmission system of the chassis to drive the car. There are mainly two types of engines: gasoline engine and diesel engine.
2.The chassis is composed of transmission system, driving system, steering system and braking system. Its function is to support and install the car engine and its components and assemblies, form the overall shape of the car, and accept the power of the engine to make the car move and ensure the normal running of the car.
3.The car body forms the framework structure of the car body, providing the space for riding and carrying goods. The car body is installed on the frame of the chassis. The body of passenger cars and buses is generally an integral structure, while the body of freight cars is usually composed of two parts: cab and cargo box.
4.Electrical equipment consists of power supply and electrical equipment. The power supply includes the battery and generator, while the electrical equipment includes the starting system of the engine, the ignition system of the gasoline engine and other electrical devices.
